The body of a yet-to-be-identified woman was found on a bridge in Abuja on Thursday, May 2.
Residents of the area woke up to find the body dumped on the bridge, and a check showed that there was no mutilation.
Posting photos of the body, an X user, wrote;
‘’This young girl was found dead this morning, after Mpape junction around Abuja top bridge that connect Berger and AYA. They couldn’t find any useful information about her or any I.D to get through to her family and relatives. Any one with useful information about her or her”
When contacted by LIB, the spokesperson of the FCT police command, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident and said that an investigation has commenced.
‘’The Commissioner police has ordered an immediate investigation on the incident, as he directed the DC CID to conduct discreet investigation to ascertain the identity of the corpse and equally the remote cause of death. Further development will be communicated.”
