Outraged Youths Storm Och’Idoma’s Palace with Corpses of Herdsmen Attack Victims [VIDEO]

Angry demonstrators marched to the palace of the Och’Idoma, His Royal Majesty Agabaidu Elaigwu John Odogbo, on Sunday, carrying the bodies of victims killed in recent attacks by suspected herdsmen.

This protest at the Idoma nation’s paramount ruler’s palace follows a report by DAILY POST confirming that separate raids on communities within the Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State left more than 10 people dead.

The attacks reportedly took place in two separate communities within the local government area.

Angered by the killings, youths reportedly carried the victims’ corpses to the Och’Idoma Palace to register their grievances and demand urgent action from the Benue State Government, the Federal Government and security agencies to halt the persistent bloodshed in Benue South.

“How long will this continue? Will a man escape from his own ancestral land? We have lost hope in our politicians,” the protesters were heard saying.
