Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, has lamented that there is no security in Nigerian airports, justifying why the country should break up.

Igboho disclosed this in a video shared on Thursday, while he was spotted at a UK airport.

According to him, persistent insecurity is why the Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, and other ethnicities in Nigeria should go their separate ways.

He further said the many problems of Nigeria are the reason why citizens don’t feel proud to identify as Nigerians.

“Even inside the airport, there is no security. They can steal your belongings inside your bag (in Nigerian airports). All these are the things dissuading people from being proud of the country, Nigeria.

“Things like that make us sad to identify ourselves as Nigerians. This is why we advocate for separation. If Nigeria is not working as a country, it is better we go our separate ways,” he said.

Igboho has been an advocate for the separation of Nigeria for many years.

Recall that in April 2024, Igboho, alongside others, sent a powerful letter to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu urging him to establish a negotiation team to discuss the Yoruba people’s exit from Nigeria.

Meanwhile, in past years, Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, a separatist group, had been under detention by the Nigerian government despite calls for his release.
