VIDEO: I Was Raped By My Nanny While Growing Up – Charly Boy

Veteran Nigerian singer, Charles Oputa a.k.a Charly Boy has narrated how he was raped by his nanny.

He stated this during an interview on Muvmnt Studio.

Recounting his experience of being molested and getting infected with STDs as a child, Charly Boy noted that he was already visiting brothels at age 12.

In a now-trending video on social media, he further explained that he didn’t feel abused at that time because he was enjoying it.

“I was raped by my nanny. I didn’t feel abused or raped. I actually enjoyed it because I didn’t know what the hell was going on. At 12, I don already contracted gonorrhea. I was going to all the brothels around.” [sic].

Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has shared a first glimpse of her baby boy. Nollywood Citadel had announced that the actress had her baby in the United States.

Confirming the news, Dayo Amusa expressed gratitude to her Maker as she expressed how excited she was to be a mum. The movie star, however, made it known that the photos of a newborn circulating online aren’t her son’s picture and would share their treasure in a bit.

On her Instagram page, Dayo shared photos of her newborn son as she expressed gratitude to her Maker. The excited mother stated that her treasure had arrived.

Last year, Dayo Amusa had laid heavy curses on those who mocked her for being barren. The movie star had gotten into trouble with Nigerians over her support for 2024 APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and for shading a certain colleague, which many believed was Iyabo Ojo, for not campaigning for him. Her post earned her several backlashes as many trolled her with her sensitive issue. As such, Dayo went on Instagram Live to bitterly curse them, praying for them to experience such.

Some years back, Amusa disclosed why she stayed in an abusive relationship that almost ruined her life. She said it was hard to leave because she used to be a fixer until she realized that you can’t fix a broken egg. She disclosed that she was always attracting emotionally unavailable men, narcissists, drug abusers, sociopaths, and more until she realized that the reason she was attracting those types of men was that she believed she could save them.

One of the most versatile entertainment impresarios in Nigeria, Semiu Adenekan popularly known as DJ Semight has concluded all plans to take over the entertainment arena in the Nigeria with the introduction of his Excelsior Bar & Lounge located beside BCOS Ile-Akede, Basorun, Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State. 

Apparently latching onto the status of the Oyo as the pace-setter in the South West and indeed, Nigeria, DJ Semight decided to invest billions in the construction of the entertainment spot equipped with ultra-modern facilities including swimming pool, high class kitchen, superlative dining room, automated rest rooms, spacious restaurant that can also be used as venue for birthday and other parties.

While speaking with the media, DJ Semight submitted: “This modest effort and investment we have at Excelsior Bar & Lounge is our own way of contributing to the entertainment industry in Nigeria.

“We made sure we did not leave any stone unturned in our quest to achieve near perfection while constructing the lounge and bar. We brought in experts from Osogbo to design the motifs on the fence as you can see. We also got experts to design our roofs for effective sound proofing against the rains.

“In addition, we specially imported a one-in-town stage for our performers. Naturally, this is our selling point. The stage was also accompanied by the most current array of public address systems including the mixers and special lightings.”

While assuring entertainment enthusiasts of adequate security at Excelsior Bar & Lounge, Semight said: “Security and safety are very important to us. Those who know us or have done one or two businesses with us in the past 35 years will confirm this. We have staged so many open-field shows, carried out outdoor marketing activation assignments for the likes of Nigerian Breweries, MTN, Etisalat, major political parties and so many others. We do not compromise. We are specialists. We ensure that the right pegs are in the right holes at all times.

“We are insistent on dishing out the best, we have the right ambience for those visiting Excelsior Bar & Lounge. The pressure on everyone in Nigeria is much.

Excelsior Bar & Lounge opened for business about two weeks ago but the official commissioning will be held in the last week of November, 2024.

Veteran Nollywood Actor, Charles Olumo Dies At 101

Veteran Nollywood actor Abdulsalam Sanyaolu, popularly known as Charles Olumo or “Agbako,” has died at the age of 101 years.

President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin confirmed Agbako’s demise in an Instagram post.

Mr Latin said details of his burial arrangement will be shared at a later date.

“TAMPAN announces the passing of Pa Charles Olumo Sanyaolu, fondly known as AGBAKO. Details of the burial arrangements will be shared at a later time. Good night father, 25/02/1923 to 31/10/2024”

Born on February 25, 1923, Agbako as he was fondly called by movie lovers was popular within the Yoruba film industry. He was popular for his commanding presence and exceptional performances.

He gained fame for his roles in traditional Yoruba films, where he portrayed fearless characters such as villians, warriors and chiefs. His ability to embody tough roles made him a household name.
