A Kano High Court has ordered the deposed Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero to stop parading himself as emir.
The court also directed the police commissioner to evict him from the mini-palace on State Road.
The court, presided over by Justice Amina Adamu Aliyu, gave the order on Monday.
With this, the coast is now clear for Khalifa Muhammad Sanusi 11 to fully hold grip on Kano traditional stool.
The court also stopped the deposed Emirs Nasiru Ado Bayero (Bichi), Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar II (Karaye), Kabiru Muhammad Inuwa (Rano) and Aliyu Ibrahim Gaya (Gaya) to stop parading themselves as Emirs.
The court order followed an exparte injunction filed by the counsel to the applicant, Ibrahim Isa Wangida before the Court presided over by Justice Aminu Adamu Aliyu.
