The plan to destroy Bola Tinubu’s govt won’t manifest. It will fail. I’m glad as I read somewhere with confirmation that 90 percent of the twitter handles from the Southwest that are intellectually destroying IPOB/ Obedients propaganda against Tinubu are Yoruba historians, Nationalists, conservatives and ideologues who have zero political affiliations.

We are aware that there is a real plan to destroy the government of Bola Ahmed Tinubu by instigating riots that could lead to violent overthrow but we must truly call on the core conservative base of the Yoruba not to be allowed to be used as a tool of destruction against one of ours.

We must stand behind Tinubu and not allow mischief makers to do harm to him.

There has lately been spurious allegations against the Yoruba race by the core intellectuals of the Eastern Nigeria inspite of our deep love for them.

The crisis in Western Nigeria of the 1960sb did not lead to the crisis in Eastern Nigeria. That disjointed history is disingenuous.

Please, let someone educate me on how the crisis in Western Nigeria resulted in the pogrom against Igbos in the North or the coup of January 1966.

It’s rather unfortunate that Igbo intellectuals are pushing revisionist history. There has always been animosity between the North and Igbos.

Pre independence, there were pogroms in the North against Igbos. The Kano crisis of 1956 is a good example.

I don’t think Western Nigeria is seeking support from the East for anything.

Why Igbos always blame Yorubas for any problem defy explanation, if Igbos want to go, they should do so without dragging Yorubas into the narrative.

If Yorubas choose to be subservient to mallams, honestly I think our choice should be respected.

It belies common sense to think that Igbos can be more sympathetic to the Yoruba cause than the Yorubas themselves.

Western Nigeria can solve her own problems. Honestly, Igbos should not worry about Yorubas.

They should mind their region and let Yorubas carry their crosses. Too much hatred for the Yoruba by the Eastern core intellectuals.

We are a loving people, a peaceful one and welcoming too and we will continue to be so but we won’t allow to be destroyed by anyone.
