Former Ebonyi Governor and Deputy Leader David Umahi has been screened by the Senate.

Being a member of the 10th Senate, Umahi, before taking his bow, as permitted by the tradition of the Senate, expressed his appreciation of the non-partisanship of President Bola Tinubu that found him worthy to be of service in his cabinet as a minister.
