‘It’s A Forever Thing,’ Davido Assures Wife Chioma On Birthday

Singer Davido has taken to social media to pledge his love to his wife, Chioma, on the occasion of her birthday today April 30.

The singer on his instagram page shared a photo of her on Sunday and described Chioma as his “right hand” and “go to” person. He stated that her love is timeless and assured her that what they share is a “forever thing.”

“Today I just want to celebrate my right hand! My go to! Happy birthday baby @thechefchi ! God bless you. Your love is timeless. It’s a forever thing I ASSURE YOU! ”he wrote

Video: Portable Releases New Song Detailing His Arrest, Netizens React

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has released a new song following his arrest.

On Tuesday evening, the Lagos State Police Command arrested the singer for refusing to pay the debt he incurred when he purchased G-Wagon from a car dealer in the state.

It was gathered that Portable, during the purchase of the vehicle worth N27m, paid only N13m and had refused to pay the N14m balance on the pretext that the car was faulty.

The car dealer reported the matter to the police, who swung into action and arrested the singer.

Speaking, the singer, via his Instagram page, stated that God is bigger than everything. He added for anyone who believed in the saying to say Amen. Portable went on to stress that God is over everything.

Now, the controversial singer has released son song, Spider-Man, giving details about his arrest.

Portable just dropped a new song. He used the voice over from his arrest video as the intro.

This isn’t the first time the singer has had an issue with the law. In April 2023, Portable was arrested by The Ogun State police command after he refused to honour the police invitation.

He was later released after 3 days of detention from Ilaro Correctional Centre. The Ifo Magistrate Court had granted him bail of N300,000 with two sureties in like sums.

Following his release, Portable declared love for the Nigerian police while describing himself as a Federal Government liability. He urged his fans and followers to show them love, respect them and stop giving them problems.

Video: Police Arrest Portable Over G-Wagon Debt

The Lagos State Police Command, on Tuesday, arrested popular musician, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, for refusing to pay the debt he incurred when he purchased G-Wagon from a car dealer in the state.

JomogNews learnt that the controversial singer was nabbed following his alleged refusal to pay the debt he incurred when he purchased G-Wagon from a car dealer in the state.

According to reports, Portable, during the purchase of the vehicle worth N27m, paid only N13m and had refused to pay the N14m balance.

It was learnt that whenever the car dealer contacted him to pay the balance, he usually claimed that the vehicle was bad.

When efforts to get Portable to pay the balance proved abortive, our correspondent gathered that the car dealer reported the matter to the police and policemen detailed to investigate the case arrested Portable.

When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that Portable had been arrested.

He said, “Yes, Portable has been arrested. He bought G-Wagon for N27m, paid N13m and refused to pay the rest, claiming the vehicle was bad. We arrested him today.”

Last year, Femi Adebayo shattered records on Netflix, as Jagun Jagun went global on the streaming app with 2.1 million views. To add to it, the movie is now ranked 5th in Non-English Charts.

To top it off, Jagun Jagun was listed among the Top 10 trending movies on Netflix in 17 countries, like Egypt, Bahamas, Kenya, Nigeria, the United Kingdom, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, and more. The movie was also a big hit at the Box office.

Opening up on the movie in an interview with the press, the box office King revealed that he sold his properties to fund the movie, which is a multi-billion project, because he didn’t want to seek help from financial institutions and individuals. Elsewhere in the interview, he revealed his worst nightmare and its inspiration.

A few weeks back, Femi Adebayo had expressed excitement after receiving his first award for Jagun Jagun.

The movie star recounted how he got a call from Woli Arole, informing him about a dinner in honour of his movie, which he contemplated declining. Unaware of what they had planned for him, Femi was blown away by the award presentation and the emotional speech from Faithia Williams and Bimbo Ademoye.
