Asiwaju Lanre Gentry, ex husband to Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has reacted to news of his ex wife’s new marriage with movie marketer Kazim Adeoti.
To many netizens, the popular hotelier has been vindicated, and the marriage of Mercy to Kazim, the movie marketer is a confirmation of her alleged infidelity.
Lanre Gentry had alleged that Mercy Aigbe’s constant infidelity on sleeping with many movie marketers and actors is the cause of their divorce, but many people doubted him.
However, a throwback photo that emerged online a few hours after Mercy Aigbe unveiled her new husband shows Mercy and her ex-husband Lanre Gentry were probably a family friend to Kazim Adeoti.
Sharing the photo on his page, Lanre Gentry expressed appreciation to God that the truth is finally out, reiterating that.
Kazim is one of many other people Mercy Aigbe was sleeping with while married.
He wrote: “At last, I thank God the truth is out this is just one of many, to God be the glory”.
Gentry in his reaction is trying to justify his earlier claim that while married to Mercy, she was in the habit of having affairs with other men, an action that led to the collapse of the marriage.
The two who have been together for a while now before they decided to go public with their relationship, have reportedly tied the knot.
Although Kazim has been married for more than 20 years to fashion designer, Funsho Adeoti, his religion allows him to have more than one, a major reason Mercy had to acquire a Muslim name, Minnah.
The union is happening five years after her marriage to Gentry crashed in 2017 on allegations of domestic violence on Gentry’s part and infidelity on her own part.
Gentry has however since remarried.
Mercy and Gentry’s marriage produced a son, Olajuwon before it packed up.
