This was as a result of heavy rain witnessed on Friday, JomogNews Nigeria reports.

The road is the only link road between Igbeti in Oke Ogun geo-political zone of the state and Ogbomoso in Ogbomoso geo-political zone of the state.

This has prevented traders, farmers and other commuters who are going to Oke Ogun geo-political zone from Ogbomoso or those who are going to Ogbomoso from Oke Ogun geo-political zone from continuing thier journey.

Some of the passengers noted that they left their houses early in the morning and were disappointed that the road is no more passable.

A trader, Saki Ayodeji said she left her house very early to be able to reach Igbeti from Ogbomoso, but got stranded.

Another trader, Wale Alao, said he had some goods to pick up in Ogbomoso, “but now it’s impossible to reach his destination.”

“No vehicle, or motorcycles can enter from Oke Ogun and none of the ones coming from Ogbomoso can cross to the other side,” he said.

As at the time of filing this report, Vanguard reports that the commuters were still stranded.

“No vehicle, or motorcycles can enter from Oke Ogun and none of the ones coming from Ogbomoso can cross to the other side,” he said.

Another trader, Olubukola Olatunji hinted that some residential apartments have also been affected around Iluju and other communities along the road.
