Today June 14 makes it exactly one year that ex-beauty queen and event planner, Pastor Mrs Ibidun Ajayi- Ighodalo died.
Family and friends of late Ibidun Ighodalo gathered to hold a memorial service in her honour at the Trinity House in Lagos, JomogNews Nigeria reports.
The ex-beauty queen died in the early hours of Sunday morning, June 14, 2020 in Port Harcourt, while on assignment to set up a COVID-19 isolation centre for the Rivers State government.
She died one month before her 40th birthday.
Her mum, husband Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, her two children Keke and Zenan and other family members were in attendance.
Also present were the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his deputy Hamzat Bello and many others.
