Ogba area of Lagos is a no-go area at the moment as two Hausa okada riders have allegedly been killed by policemen, leaving residents in panic, JomogNews reports.
Reliable sources who confirmed this incident to Newsrand, accounted that some policemen killed the riders in late hours of Thursday, May 8, 2021, in a bid to extort money from them.
In what appeared to be a calculated movement of reprisal, Hausa okada riders and other northerners are on rampage, mobilising themselves around the community.
Eye witnesses say people are scampering for safety in and around Ogba as the clash is escalating.
Heavily policemen have been stationed at the Area G police station.
