Gunmen have now descended on Akwa Ibom State, killing policemen and burning patrol vans as they go on rampage.
The gunmen killed two policemen and burnt two patrol vehicles in Ika Local Government area of the state, JomogNews Nigeria reports.
The state commissioner of Police, Aniengheme Andrew has confirmed the incident.
