Breaking: Nollywood Actor, Ernest Asuzu Is Dead

The Nigeria movie industry has lost another of its own as Nollywood actor Ernest Asuzu is reportedly dead. Asuzu who suffered stroke few years ago died in the early hours of Wednesday.

His wife was said to have called fellow actor Desmond Elliot to announce the death to him.

The actor’s ill health status flooded the internet space last year, following a viral video of him begging for alms.

He was, however, supported by well meaning Nigerians including the wife of Anambra State Governor, Mrs Willie Obiano.

Asuzu was known for playing criminal, villain, actions and hit man roles in movies alongside with Jim Iyke, Emma Ehumadu and Alaso Wariboko.

Ernest Asuzu began his acting career in the late 90s.

He rose to fame after acting in the Nollywood blockbuster movie, Another Campus Queen.
