Jomog News Nigeria brings you By-election is being held today, Saturday, 12th of November, 2020 in Lagos East senatorial district
The election is to replace the vacant seat created by the death of Senator Adebayo Osinowo in June this year.
The two main contenders in today’s election are Mr Babatunde Gbadamosi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Mr Tokunbo Abiru of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The election will be held across five local government areas (LGAs) and eleven local council development areas LCDA’s.
According to INEC 1,168,790 voters are eligible to participate in the bye-election which was rescheduled from October to December 5.
