Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC), has announced 152 new COVID-19 infections in the country.
On Tuesday the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC), announced 152 new COVID-19 infections in the country, Jomog News Nigeria reports.
The announcement was made in its daily COVID-19 update posted on its official Twitter handle.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country to 64,336.
The NCDC also confirmed that 264 persons were discharged from isolation centres across the country after being successfully treated and tested negative to the virus.
According to the update, Lagos recorded a total of 93 new infections.
Other states with new infections included FCT, 21, Oyo, 15, Rivers, 11, Bauchi, 7. Kwara, 2, while Bayelsa, Edo, and Plateau had one case each.

It also stated that 60,333 cases discharged and 1,160 deaths have been recorded.
The agency confirmed that it had activated a multi-sectoral national Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), at Level III to coordinate the national response activities in the country.
