2019 BBNaija ‘Pepperdem’ winner, Mercy Eke, today celebrated her 1 year anniversary of winning the reality TV show.
Last years BBNaija reality TV show which is very competitive saw the Mercenaries boss emerged winner after spending 3 months in the house.
Jomog.com.ng recalls that Mercy Eke beats the likes of Mike Edwards, Frodd, Omashola, and Seyi to bag the award, thereby becoming the first female housemate to win the reality TV show.
Celebrating the anniversary, Mercy Eke took to her Twitter page to share the memory of how it all happened saying that as the first female to win the reality TV show, she has changed the narrative, created history, changed the game, and levelled the playing field.
She tweeted;
“On this day we changed the narrative. We told the female child “dare to win”? we created history and became a force??️ we changed the game ? and leveled the playing field.
“Thank you Mercenaries ??️Thank you Nigerians ?? ? Thank you Africa ? #MercyEkeWinVersary.”
The journey to the last day of the reality TV show wasn’t easy as Mercy’s most fierce rival, Tacha was disqualified after her face-off with Mercy Eke.
