Viju Milk boosts fight against Covid-19 Pandemic, Supports Lagos, Ogun with products

Viju Industries (Nigeria) Limited, a leading player in the Milk Drink Industry in Nigeria and West Africa popularly known as “Viju Milk Drink” have joined efforts by leading its managements and partners to support state and federal government initiatives geared towards alleviating the pain and disruption to the daily lives of citizens by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The beneficiary states include Lagos State and Ogun State.

The management of Viju Industries stated that this is an unprecedented crisis necessitating urgent attention. Hence, the distribution of relief materials across these states, especially targeting the most economically vulnerable in the society during the shutdown of activities.

“We realize the effect on Nigerians, especially the economically vulnerable in the society and those on daily wages whose incomes are closely tied to ongoing economic activities, which for now have been lockdown.”

The Managements also added that the relief items donated in thousands to the States Emergency Food Response to be distributed across the residents in Lagos and Ogun State respectively are; Viju Milk drinks, Obest Biscuits, Mama V Tomato Paste and Mr. V premium water.

In addition to the food items, the management also commended the effort of all health workers on the frontline in battling the COVID-19 pandemic and also urge residents to abide by medical precautions and government resilient efforts to combat this dreaded pandemic.

“Despite the social distancing, all of our hearts remain together, being confident that working together, we can, and we will come out victorious. Please, do stay safe while you heed to government instruction of staying home. Do not forget, regular hand washing and social distancing,” management added.
