Popular Nigeria male barbie, Idris Okuneye better known as Bobrisky has reportedly been arrested and detained for fraud.
Bobrisky was allegedly picked up by men of the Lagos state police on Friday night.
The reason was his arrest was linked to an alleged business deal fraud between the Instagram sensational Barbie and a business woman.
His arrest came barely one week after he was called out on Instagram for not remitting money made from the deal to the rightful owner.
According to report, the woman had contacted Bobrisky to run her business under “Bobs Wings” which they started off without hitches.
However, Bobrisky was accused being shady by not remitting proceeds from the business.
The woman reportedly took the case to court and also ordered for his arrest and questioning over failure to remit her money.
Bobrisky’s arrest was disclosed by an Instagram blogger who the lady had earlier contacted to expose him.
The blogger wrote: “Bobrisky has just been arrested and detained by Lagos police concerning the Bob Wing money shim take buy ijekuje. AUNTCLE has been locked in the male cell, in a Lagos Police divisional station, about some minutes ago.”
“For those saying that’s not shim,maybe you will need the IPO number to confirm Shim you are doing well ooin. Enjoy your sleep AUNTCLE, when the mosquitoes in the cell show face, just tell them you are the AREA MAMA, they won’t chop your Gbola.”
Bobrisky who was locked up in the Lagos Police Divisional station on Friday night might not be out of the male cell until Monday, March 9th.
Efforts to get the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkanan, to confirm the arrest, proved abortive as he neither picked calls made to him nor responded to messages sent to him.
