As the Lagos Social Media Week 2020 draws to a close, one can safely conclude that the special appearance of the Managing Director of Guaranty Trust Bank PLC, Mr. Segun Agbaje is unarguably the icing on the cake of this year’s event – and the versatile Agbaje used the occasion to tell SMEs and SMSEs in the country of the bank’s readiness to support them more than ever.

Agbaje who fielded questions from participants and a cross-section of the media after his presentation at the event did not mince words as he said GT Bank is poised to raise the bar in the continent as far as banking and financial services is concerned. 

Agbaje whilst responding to questions about how the banking giant is latching on to the fintech solutions developed by the bank and its partners to make life easier for its teeming customers says USSD is about the biggest banking solution the bank is deploying to help customers in their bid to get that ultimate customer experience. 

Agbaje also hinted that GT Bank is constantly driving growth through innovative banking solutions tailor-made for utmost satisfaction of its customers adding that events like the Lagos Social Media Week is an event to plug into the workings of internet of things for Nigerian youngsters wishing to advance their career in various fields of human endeavour. 

Also at the event was GT Bank head of corporate communications, Mrs. Oyinade Adegite and head of media relations, Mr. Negedu Udoko amongst others.
