A Nollywood actor, Pope Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope, is dead.
JomogNews platform understands that the actor and three of his colleagues were coming back from a movie location in a boat when their boat capsized in the Anam River in Anambra state.
The news of his death was shared on Wednesday, April 10, by filmmaker, Samuel Olatunji.
Their bodies have since been recovered.
The actor shared a video of himself taken yesterday in a boat and praying frantically to arrive at his destination safely. The accident unfortunately happened on his way back from the location today April 10th.
He was 39 years old.
The actor is survived by his wife and three children. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.
