Chief Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho on Monday evening stormed Igangan in Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo state.
JomogNews Nigeria had reported that scores of residents of Igangan community were killed in the early hours of Sunday while several houses, including the Palace of Ashi of Igangan were burnt by suspected herdsmen.
Igboho was seen in photos shared online, waving at the people and acknowledging cheers from them from inside the vehicle.
Okada riders were also seen hailing him and riding beside the Toyota Hilux which conveyed him to the town.
Igboho, in the now-viral video, got to the town in a convoy with many residents cheering.
JomogNews Nigeria reported that during the visit, Igboho also tried to comb the forests.
Igboho’s spokesman Olayomi Koiki said the visit of Igboho was to assess the level of destruction witnessed in the village and to also relate with the villagers.
