According to Adeboye, he was not involved in SeaKing’s arrest but some individuals annoyed by SeaKing’s defamatory remarks took matters into their hands.

Pastor Adeboye stated in a video: “I was told that some people got angry and went to arrest the fellow man, release him, he’s fulfilling prophecy”.

SeaKing’s initial arrest was reportedly triggered by a petition submitted by a Christian association or group affiliated with the RCCG, alleging cyberbullying against Pastor Adeboye
