A Nigerian man has cried out for help as court officials stormed his home to take his property, claiming it was used as collateral by his wife for a loan.
According to his claims in a viral video, the eviction attempt stemmed from his wife using his property as collateral for a loan without his knowledge.
The man, whose identity is unknown, posted the video, where he explained that he and his wife had been having issues, only to see the arrival of court officials, who came with documents to enforce his ejection from the home.
“I’m live in my house; let the whole world know. I don’t have any details with anybody. They said my wife took a loan without and they are here throwing my things out. I have not consulted for anything. She started by moving things gradually from the house,” he lamented.
The man claimed that his wife had kept the loan a secret, leaving him completely unaware of the financial trouble brewing until the court officials arrived to evict him.
The emotional video has gone viral, garnering widespread attention across social media platforms. Many Nigerians have expressed their sympathy for the man, condemning the actions of his wife and questioning how she was able to use the property as collateral without his consent.
