Protest is currently ongoing among students of the University of Ibadan in Oyo State over introduction of a 10-hour daily electricity supply within the campus.
The surging crowd emanating from the Zik-Indy Axis thundered in rage as they moved through the darkness into the main campus area, chanting their disagreement with the management’s decision.
The crowd moving through Bello Hall towards Kuti Hall and Trenchard Hall called for more students to join the struggle against the school management.
Noise and shouts from the protesting students are currently still reverberating on the school premises.
