Barely 24 hours after the passing of veteran Nollywood actor, John Okafor, aka Mr Ibu, his adopted daughter, Jasmine, has changed his personal Tiktok account of over 1 million followers to her own name.
It would be recalled that the actor’s untimely demise came as a shock following reports of suffering a cardiac arrest due to elevated blood pressure since his surgery.
Jasmine Okafor has been accused of changing Mr Ibu’s TikTok to hers before demise.
A check on the late actor’s Tiktok page on Sunday revealed that the account has now been renamed to @LadyJasminec_live.
Jasmine also appeared to have deleted all the late actor’s videos except the ones featuring her.
The development has sparked uproar on social media, with fans of the late actor berating Jasmine of “tampering” with his legacy.
Recall that the actor passed away on Saturday night, weeks after returning from hospital following successful surgeries that led to amputation of one of his legs.
The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Dr Emeka Rollas, who confirmed his death, said he died of cardiac arrest.
