The monarch gave the assurance Monday evening.

The pastor, identified as Evangelist Segun Adegboyega, was reportedly murdered by suspected herdsmen on his farm at Gege village along Ogbomoso-Iseyin road.

Following the incident, three individuals have been apprehended in connection with the pastor’s killing and have been transferred to the custody of the Owode Police headquarters.

Addressing the residents, the traditional ruler, Oba Olaoye, pledged to ensure that justice prevails for the family of the deceased. He expressed deep sympathy for the community and affirmed his commitment to collaborating with law enforcement to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Oba Olaoye stated, “As your father, I wish to say, this is an ugly situation and it’s uncalled for. I have spoken my mind to the Area Commander (of Owode Police headquarters), who is here with me and I want to assure you that justice would be served. I equally sympathize with every one of you, may God continue to watch over you and the entire land of Ogbomoso.”
