Dangerous Prank: TrinityGuy Will Be Charged To Court Monday — Police
Nigerian Police Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has disclosed that the embattled skitmaker and prankster, Abdullahi Maruff Adisa, popularly known as Trinity Guy, will appear before the court on Monday over alleged use of minor in skit video.
CSP Adejobi disclosed this while replying to a Twitter user who asked about the possibilities of immediate isolation of the skitmaker from society.
Tagging the Police spokesperson, the Twitter user @Sahaabah01 wrote, “I truly wish it didn’t take this long to isolate this nuisance from society. Nonetheless, thank you @NigerianPolice and @Princemoye1. Please keep him away for a very long time.”
Retweeting the post, CSP Adejobi assured the Twitter user and the general public that the prankster will be charged to court by the police on Monday.
According to him, there have been many complaints leveled against the skitmaker, adding that groups, NGOs, among others, are interested in his case.
The officer further revealed that when it comes to the law, there is equal treatment for everyone without any form of sentiment, and that his case will serve as a deterrent to other pranksters who engage in dangerous, risky, and indecent pranks.
He wrote, “He will surely be charged to court on Monday. We have received several complaints against him, and many groups, NGOs, and CLOs are interested in the case. There is no sentiment in law, as I always say. Others should be able to learn from his actions and inactions.”
He added that he does not have anything personal against the skitmaker and he is only acting on the case based on the provisions of the law.
“Many have reached out to me regarding this case, but I have made it known that it’s not a personal matter. It’s about the provision of the law, decency, and morals.”
This is coming a few days after CSP Adejobi first called for the arrest of the Ibadan-based skitmaker for failing to abide by the initial warnings given to skit maker over dangerous prank.

The death toll from severe weather that lashed the Texas city of Houston has risen to seven, authorities said Friday.
The three additional deaths came after Houston, the fourth-largest US city, was hit Thursday by heavy rain and winds up to 100 miles (160 kilometers) per hour, leaving downtown streets covered in glass from blown-out windows.
Downed trees and power lines littered residential areas and the National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down in the suburb of Cypress.
According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the new victims included an 85-year-old woman who died after her mobile home was struck by lightning and caught fire.
A 60-year-old man was found unresponsive and pronounced dead after going to his truck to try and power his oxygen tank, after electricity was cut across wide swaths of the storm-hit area.
And a 57-year-old man collapsed and died after trying to move a downed power pole.
Houston Mayor John Whitmire said Thursday after the storm that four people died, though specifics were not immediately available.
Schools in Houston, home to 2.3 million people with an economy centered around oil and petrochemicals, were closed on Friday and non-essential workers urged to stay home.

The Police Command in Lagos State has confirmed the sudden death of a man, who came to watch television at a beer parlour in the state.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this to the Newsmen on Sunday.
Hundeyin said that the owner of the beer parlour, whose name was not mentioned, reported the case to Elere Police Division on Wednesday at about 7.00 p.m.
He said that the report revealed that a customer (now deceased), whose name and address were yet unknown, in his 50s, came to the beer parlour located along Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway at about 6.15 p.m.
The image maker said the bar owner said the customer walked into the open bar to sit and watch television like any other customers, while some were drinking.
“He was later observed to be sleeping on the chair and there was an attempt to wake him up, but they discovered that he was lifeless.
“The scene was visited by detectives of the division and the body was seen lifeless on the chair without any mark of violence.
“The body has been removed to Mainland General Hospital Mortuary Yaba, Lagos for autopsy. Efforts to trace his family is in progress,” he said.
