Police Request Identification Of Deceased Accident Victim, Publishes His Photo

The Delta State Police Command has sent the photograph of a deceased accident victim to members of the public for possible identification and collection.

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe released the photograph in a statement to the media.

The Police image maker said the deceased accident victim is a male and has not been identified by anyone.

He said the name and address of the victim is unknown at the time of this report.

DSP Edafe noted that the deceased was involved in an accident along Benin/Asaba expressway by Summit Junction Asaba, involving one Mack Truck with Reg. No. RBC 92 ZS.

According to DSP Edafe, “the truck knocked down the deceased while crossing the road, and his body has been deposited at Maduemezia Memorial Hospital Mortuary Asaba.”

He said, “Any person(s) who knows the victim, his parents, friends or other relatives should report at State Traffic office at ‘B’ division Asaba, Maduemezia Memorial Hospital Mortuary Asaba or the Police Public Relations Office, Police Headquarters Asaba for possible identification and collection of the corpse.
