The Kaduna State Government on Tuesday commended troops of the Nigerian Army for neutralizing one bandit’s leader, Isiya Danwasa.
A statement by Samuel Aruwan Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna State, said the neutralized bandit’s leader was responsible for several killings, kidnappings and cattle rustling operations across the state.
He said the bandit’s leader was neutralized during a strategic ambush operation in the Sabon Birni general area of Igabi LGA.
The statement commended the military troops for their diligent intelligence work and precise execution which led to the demise of Danwasa and his associates.
The statement advised members of the public to always volunteer information to security forces to help apprehend and bring criminals to justice.
