Lagos to Rank Developed Cities Soon

The Chief of staff to His Excellency Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu, the Lagos State governor, Hon Tayo Ayinde assured Lagosians and the generality of the people of the determination of the government in raising the profile of the state continuously.

He made the statement while hosting members of the Diaspora’s Independent Campaign Council of the All Progressive Congress in Milton Keynes who had travelled back home during the elections to campaign and vote for APC’s candidates because of their faith in them.

He said he had come to appreciate and thank them for their sacrifice in ensuring good governance in the state and Nigeria generally.

Hon. Ayinde enumerated the achievements of Governor Sanwoolu’s government in the past four years which included the rail system, affordable government housing, establishment of rice mill and opening up many places by constructing new roads and upgrading old ones.

He further explained more on the hardwork the government is putting into building a secure state by providing more resources into infrastructure and security services which has given the state and the people a greater chance to improve the quality and efficiency of their lives. Lagos is supermost secure today and this is a result of the seriousness n matters concerning life and property in the state.

He further assured members in attendance of more developments while seeking for their cooperation in further raising the profile of the fifth economy in Africa that will continuously be a pride to all.

In attendance amongst others were Chief Bolaji Jaji-Thomas, the Baale of Allen, Ikeja, Barr. George Olufemi Ogunjimi, the Bamofin of Ojo. Lagos and ABAT’s UK Coordinator, Hon. Tayo Shodeinde, the ICC’s UK Coordinator, Hon. Aolat Sule of APC UK, Hon. Muyiwa Adesua, the DG of APC UK Campaign Council and Hon.Tunde Doherty.

The Chief of Staff in his closing remarks advised professionals to start building more confidence in the country and invest back home, stressing that lives and property would continue to be improved and protected by the government.
