Mrs Christy Uba has assumed the leadership of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). She is currently the Director of Information and Communications Technology and the most senior director.
Uba will lead the corps in acting capacity, according to a statement by Director of Press and Public Relations, Eddy Megwa.
President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to appoint a substantive Director-General soon.
The President sacked the former DG, Brig.-Gen. Muhammad Fadah, last week.
Fadah assumed duty as the 19th head on May 18, 2022, succeeding Maj.-Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim.
