Suspected gunmen on Friday, stormed a farm in Anchau village of Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State, on Wednesday, killing a soldier who was detailed to provide security to staff members in the company.
A source disclosed that after killing the security personnel, they abducted two staff of the company, a Zimbabwean national.
Confirming the incident, a member of the vigilante in the area who pleaded anonymity told newsmen on Saturday that the bandits invaded the farm around 1:30 pm on Wednesday.
He named the kidnapped foreigner as Mr Charles Choko and Yusuf Aliyu Bello from Kano State.
He said a team of security personnel were sighted on Friday going inside the bush apparently to rescue the victims.
Chairman of the local government, Bashir Suleiman Zuntu did not pick up his calls for further confirmation, just as the State Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Mohammed Jalige did not pick his calls
