In the bid to reconcile the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola with his estranged leader and presidential aspirant of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi have met with the former governor of Osun, Aregbesola in Ibadan on Tuesday.

Though the meeting was held under closed door and details of the meeting are sketchy, but it was gathered that the meeting was held to resolve the crisis between Aregbesola and former Lagos State Governor Bola Tinubu.

Media aide to the minister, Sola Fasure, confirmed that the meeting took place without giving details.

“It is true, he had a private meeting with them. I won’t speculate on the content of their meeting,” he said.

It would be recalled that there has been love lost between the duo for sometimes now but the disaffection came fought few days to the governorship primary in Osun state, where the incumbent governor, Gboyega Oyetola defeated Aregbesola’s candidate, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti.

Aregbesola was seen in a video at campaign ground disparaging his erstwhile leader, Asiwaju Tinubu.
