• Says Mr Governor Will Be Supported For Second Term
Mr Tayo Ayinde, Chief of Staff to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu is not interested in contesting the 2023 governorship election.
An associate of Ayinde, Hon Wasiu Adedoyin Banjo, in a memo to bloggers, advised those behind the rumours to desist, saying the plan was already dead on arrival.
According to Banjo who is also a lawyer, Governor Sanwo-Olu would be supported for a second term in office.
“We are in a vantage position to say that Mr. Tayo Ayinde is not interested in Lagos Governorship, not now, not in the future.
“We will all support Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for second term.
“Those trying to instigate crisis of confidence among Mr. Governor, his Deputy and the CoS have failed woefully and the attempt is dead on arrival,” he said.
