ASUU tells Nigerian students To Prepare for resumption next week

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has told Nigerian students to prepare for resumption next week as it expressed hope of an agreement with the federal government.

Jomog News Nigeria reports that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has told students to prepare for resumption next week.

This was disclosed on its official Twitter page as the education body expressed hope of an agreement with the federal government.

There is optimism from the Union that the students would return to universities next week after its meeting with the federal government.

“All Federal University students should prepare for resumption as we expect a positive outcome from ASUU on Wednesday”, the Tweet read.

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, on Friday, has expressed the hope that the agreement with the Union will be concluded next week.

He lamented that ASUU was not considering the challenges their demands would create.
