A former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has called out the national leader of the all progressive congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for disrespecting the Ooni Of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi by not standing up to greet him at the oniru palace earlier this week.

‘That the Asiwaju of Bourdillon refused to stand up to greet the Ooni of Ife speaks volumes.This was not only deeply insulting to every Ife & indeed son & daughter of Odua but it is also a crying shame. Would a northern pol. leader refuse to stand up for his traditional ruler?’
Meanwhile, some unconfirmed explanations made it known that Tinubu and Ooni had earlier greeted before the picture was taken, and that Ooni of Ife was only going to his seat while the picture was taken.
