A Professor of Paediatrics and Child Health at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Jerome Boluwaji Elutayo Elusiyan, 51, has been killed by bandits at Iruekpen, Edo State yesterday evening.
A native of Oke Igbo, he was also the CMAC of OAUTH and also the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee of OAUTHC.
Professor J.B. Elusiyan was returning from work as an external examiner for medical students having professional examinations at the ISTH before he was gunned down by bandits.
