Accreditation and voting have commenced at the Open Space by Ava Hotel, polling unit 059, in Kogi state’s Lokoja Local Government Area.
The polling unit with 515 expected voters where INEC officials arrived at 8:15 am, voters were seen queuing up for accreditation.
Voting commenced at the Polling Unit at exactly 9:11 am.
Voting commenced late as INEC officials were waiting for all party agents to be on the ground. Only the All Progressives Congress agent who was on the ground at 8:35 am and the Peoples Democratic Party agent who arrived at 9:10 am were around at the time of filing this report.
Security personnel attached to this polling unit were three females (two police personnel and one NSCDC personnel).
