And on Thursday, September 21, the police command along with some health officials commenced the exhumation of the corpse of the singer, so that an autopsy could be carried out.
In a statement posted via his X (formerly known as Twitter) page, Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed that the singer’s body has been exhumed to further help the police investigation.
“Exhumation completed. Autopsy to commence,” he tweeted.
