In addition to his condolences, the president’s son provided a gesture of N15 million.

On Thursday on X, Tinubu’s Special Assistant on Social Media, Olusegun Dada, revealed that the President’s son has pledged his support to Mohbad’s kid.

He shared a photo of the transaction receipt, Dada wrote: “The figurative apple that did not fall far from the tree #RIPIMOLE. Thank you ST.”

Mohbad’s passing has continued to evoke strong emotions among supporters and music enthusiasts, with various reports delving into the circumstances surrounding the 27-year-old musician’s demise.

The late singer was formerly signed with Marlian Records, owned by Naira Marley. However, in October 2022, the late artist alleged that the management of Marlian Records orchestrated an assault against him and demanded a change in management.

Following Mohbad’s death, some supporters of the singer accused the owner of Marlian Records of being responsible for the trauma that led to the singer’s demise.

Famous Nigerian Celebrities, politicians and music enthusiasts have responded to these developments, sparking several protests in different parts of the country, urging a more thorough investigation into the music star’s death.

The Lagos State government has enlisted the Department of State Service to assist in the investigation, while the police have formed a dedicated team to uncover the truth behind Mohbad’s demise.

Renowned Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has been at the forefront of seeking justice for the sudden and untimely demise of young singer Mohbad.

Over the last seven days, she has gone on IG live to give updates about the ongoing investigations.

She recently disclosed that the nurse who treated Mohbad the day he passed has been arrested along with five other persons.
