Some notable Nigerians in the diaspora are calling on the elected members of the 10th Senate to elect Senator Orji Uzor Kalu as the next Senate President.
Leading the corps of business groups is Mr David Adodo, a business man in Baltimore, State of Maryland in USA.
Mr Adodo described Senator Kalu as a detribilized Nigerian who has friends, business and political associates cutting across the length and breath of Nigeria.
He mentioned that this great Nigerian has all it takes to unite the Senate and the house of representatives and make the national assembly function as one progressive body for the benefits of good legislative functions for Nigerians
Mr Adodo referred to Senator Kalu as a bridge builder who served as Governor of Abia state for 8 years during which he gave his best for the unprecedented development of the state.
He claimed also that Senator Kalu as chief Whip of the Senate was responsible for some sanity that reigned in the senate even when sensitive national issues that could create division were tabled and debated
On this premise therefore, Mr Adodo and his business group in USA call on all elected members of the senate to ignore all attempts to tarnish the image of this gold hearted politician and give him the chance to serve the nation as the President of the Senate
Mr Adodo is a strong supporter of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and who has campaigned for him home and abroad. He places resources before several political groups for the realization of Asiwaju’s presidential victory.
