A member of the House of Representatives, Hon Chinyere Igwe has been arrested in the early hours of Friday with over Five Hundred Thousand US Dollars ($500,000.00) in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
He claimed the money was given to him by PDP candidate to ensure his electoral success in Rivers State.
Alongside the cash recovered, the sharing formula written in a document was also recovered by the police.
From this document, they planned to give dollars to Security and INEC.
