Kaduna: Troops Neutralize Three Terrorists, Recover Arms In Chikun LGA

The Kaduna State Government, on Saturday, confirmed that troops have neutralised three terrorists and recovered three AK-47 rifles, motorcycles and three AK-47 magazines.

This was contained in a statement on Saturday by Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs in the state.

He said the troops laid an ambush at a suspected terrorists’ major route. ”As the terrorists approached, the troops opened fire on them, just as bandits too engaged them in a fierce battle.

Aruwan explained that the criminals returned fire but were overpowered by the troops after a brief firefight, adding that, three terrorists were neutralized in the exchange

He said, following this, the military authorities have reported to the Kaduna State Government that troops neutralized three terrorists during patrols along the Telele-Sabon Gida road in Chikun LGA.

He said the troops recovered three AK47 rifles, three AK47 magazines, two motorcycles, two mobile phones.
