The 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) which took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, aims to recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements in the African film and television industry.

Some notable winners include Lateef Adedimeji’s “Lisabi: The Uprising,” which won Best Indigenous Language (West Africa).

Femi Adebayo and Chioma Chukwuka have also been recognised for their outstanding performances in “Seven Doors,” taking home the Best Lead Actor and Best Lead Actress awards, respectively. The event promises to be a spectacular celebration of African cinematic excellence.
