OGUN SETS TO HOST ALL INCLUSIVE REALITY SHOW, CELEBRATES ICONS -Commissioner Taiwo
The Hon. Commissioner, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Hon. Dr. Emmanuel Oluwatoyin Taiwo JP FIIM, has pledged, that Ogun State Government will not relent in its efforts in ensuring success for the first “All Inclusive Reality Show and Concert 2021” scheduled in September, having scored Temis media excellent for its preparedness.

The Hon. Commissioner, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Hon. Dr. Emmanuel Oluwatoyin Taiwo JP, FIIM, made this statement yesterday during the Official Press Conference, Logo Unveiling and Website Launching (www.allinclusiverealityshow.com) at the conference Hall of the Ministry at Oke-mosan, Abeokuta.

“I appreciate the fact that the organizer, Temis Media is focused with the interest of Ogun State at heart. The progress so far in the Planning has shown the level of your readiness and capabilities that you can deliver this project. Ogun All Inclusive Reality Show is a project that further translate the Governor’s intention for good governance. As a ministry under the Government, we can assure your organization of our full support to make this event an historical one”, he said.
He encouraged the management team to ensure that all hands are on deck to make the event an historical one saying Ogun State Government will do the needful for the actualization of its success.
Hon. Dr. Taiwo enjoins the participants to put in their best assuring that in an event of this nature there is always a reward for best.
Responding the CEO of Temis Media, Temidayo Babalola SPMIIM stated that the press conference is a progressive approach to an historical and remarkable flow of event appreciating the corporation of the State Government through the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Babalola added that Ogun All Inclusive Reality Show Project is an opening into a new socio-cultural realm for Ogun residents saying using music, tourism and culture to facilitate economic growth will in no doubt foster unity and enhance success in Governor Dapo Abiodun’s intention in dishing out dividends of democracy throughout the nooks and crannies of Ogun State.
“Music has been the yardstick to develop the promotion of socio- economic cum Cultural activities in the society thereby fostering unity, comfort, relaxation through its lyrics, tones and beats however, Ogun Indigenes like Late Fela Anikulapo Kuti, late Hubert Ogunde, Late Ayinla Omowura, Commander Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi, King Wasiu Ayinde, Adewale Ayuba, Shina Peters, Queen Salawa Abeni, Evang. Tope Alabi, Alhaji Sefiu Alao, Olamide, Dbang, Wiskid, Asa, Reminiscent, Kiss Daniel amongst others have played huge roles in promoting the state and developing entertainment industry in Nigeria, hence the celebration of its pride during Ogun All Inclusive Reality Show”, he explained.

He reiterates that All Inclusive Reality Show portal is ready for free registration for all talented youth across the 20 Local Governments in the State via www.allinclusiverealityshow.com ranging from age 18-35 adding that the First edition shall focus on music genres with lots of prizes to be won. The camping for rehearsal is scheduled for ten days, starting from 3rd of September to 12th September, 2021 the Grandfinale.”
In conclusion, he calls on the Youths to eschew Violence, Cultism, Crimes and embrace talents moreso, to remain focus in the bid to revive and sustain our cultural heritage and pride.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the complete list of nominees for the 2025 CAF Awards, set to take place later this year.
The CAF aawards celebrates outstanding performances and achievements across African football, recognising excellence among players, coaches, clubs, and national teams in both the men’s and women’s categories.
This year’s shortlist features a blend of experienced stars and emerging talents who have made remarkable contributions to African football over the past season.
Nigerian players such as Rasheedat Ajibade, Chiamaka Nnadozie, and Esther Okoronkwo headline the women’s nominations, while Nigerian clubs and coaches also appear in various categories — reflecting the country’s continued influence in African football.

Nigerian-Born Benin Republic Footballer, Razak Omotoyossi Dies At 39
Nigerian-born Beninese international Razak Omotoyossi has passed away at the age of 39, though the cause of death has not yet been revealed.
His death was confirmed on Tuesday, August 19, by his former Swedish club, Helsingborgs IF.
In a post on X (Formerly Twitter), the club wrote: “Helsingborgs IF is in mourning.
“We have been informed that our former player Razak Omotoyossi has passed away at the age of 39. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.”
Omotoyossi, who switched nationality to represent Benin after starting his career in the Nigerian league, became one of the country’s most celebrated footballers.
He scored 21 goals in 55 international appearances, placing him among Benin’s all-time top scorers.
He is fondly remembered for his performance during the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, where he netted all four goals in Benin’s 4-1 victory over Togo and finished as joint top scorer of the campaign alongside Samuel Eto’o.
He also made history as the first player to score for Benin at the Africa Cup of Nations finals.
At club level, Omotoyossi had a career spanning Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, with stints in South Africa, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Moldova, Sweden, and France.
He particularly excelled at Helsingborgs IF in Sweden, where he featured in the UEFA Champions League before moving to French side FC Metz.

Super Falcons Arrive Abuja After WAFCON Victory, Set For Trophy Parade
The Super Falcons of Nigeria have arrived Abuja following their successful outing at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, JomogNews reports.
Players and officials of the team arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Monday afternoon.
They will hold a trophy parade along popular districts in the Federal Capital Territory.
The contingent is expected to move through Airport Road, Berger Junction, Maitama and Wuse Market.
The Super Falcons will be hosted by President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa later in the day.
