My Life Is Being Threatened, Hold Alaafin Responsible If Anything Happens To Me- Queen Aanu Cries out
The marriage between the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and Queen Aanu is over as she has taken the bold step to leave the palace.
Jomog News Nigeria reports that the marriage between the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and Queen Aanu is over as she has taken the bold step to leave the palace few weeks ago.
She left the palace unceremoniously.

Interestingly, she is the second queen to leave the palace after Queen Ajoke Ola moved out of the palace some months ago.
When the news broke out via a popular blog on Instagram recently that Queen Anuoluwapo has left the ancient Oyo palace, many were skeptical.

Why should that be when she had granted an interview to BBC Africa and spoken highly of the 82-year-old monarch as a great husband, her teacher, and a generous spouse who has made her a fulfilled woman despite the fact that she is in her 20s?
Aanu, the beautiful queen reportedly left the palace a few weeks ago when one of the young queens, Damilola was allegedly ill-treated by the palace authorities.

In a post shared on her IG page, Queen Aanu, raised an alarm that her life is in danger after she took the decision to walk out of her marriage with the monarch.
According to Aanu, she took the decision to walk out of the union as she couldn’t continue to live in bondage. She said that since she moved out of the palace, her life has been under serious threat. She said she recently survived a failed attempt to kidnap her.
She notified the public to hold the monarch responsible should anything happen to her or her children.
However, if Queen Aanu thought leaving the palace would be as easy as she thought, then she might be wrong.
Just some hours ago on Instagram, she revealed via a post that her life was not only threatened but there were failed attempts to kidnap her.

Rotimi Salami In Tears As ‘Kilanko’ Struggles At Box Office
Nollywood actor and producer Rotimi Salami recently expressed deep concern over the poor performance and low audience turnout for his latest film, “Kilanko,” in Nigerian cinemas.
The movie, which hit theaters on March 6, 2026, was a labor of love that took three years to produce and was directed by the late Allwell Ademola.
In an Instagram post, Salami, in a video with veteran actress Yetunde Wunmi, revealed that the movie’s weekend sales were disappointing, putting it at risk of removal from theaters.
Appealing to fans for support, Salami thanked those who attended promotional events and screenings, but acknowledged that the turnout was lower than expected.
He warned that if sales do not improve by the weekend, the film may be pulled from cinemas prematurely.
He wrote, “I am making this post with a heavy heart. Kilanko sales at the cinemas last weekend weren’t good. That’s why I couldn’t post throughout yesterday.
“Still, I say a very big thank you to everyone who came out at different times for the meet-and-greet, and likewise to everyone who came out to watch, but the numbers are pretty small.
“If Kilanko doesn’t make the expected figure by this weekend. It might be kicked out of the cinemas even before Ramadan is over. Please, we need all the support we can get to reach a retainable figure.
“Kilanko is surely a beautiful movie that everyone must see. Thank you, mama @yetunde_wunmi_ for the prayers”.
